Most of what you’ll read here is my musings of growing up in small town Alabama. Sometimes I will give you the tale the way it was given to me, other times I will tell of my own personal experience. I try to capture in words the incredible oral history that was handed down to me almost weekly over delicious Southern food at family get togethers. Whether you grew up in the South and these stories bring back your own memories, or the stories and food are completely foreign to you, I hope sincerely hope that you will be entertained.
